Adding trim to interior windows

Has anyone added interior molding or trim work to existing vinyl windows? The windows are 15 years old and in fine shape. But they are typical of the cheap stucco houses built in developments in that 15 years here. There's no trim and the "sill" is the 3" plaster ledge set-back from the wall. The baseboard trim is that that dinky 2" stuff.

I'm looking for ways to add a few design/architectural elements to really basic uninteresting construction. The house has white six panel doors and I'll be adding be adding bigger baseboard trim (white). Any ideas how to improve the windows?
