Hey BP Community,

I was wondering if anybody knows the rehab costs per SQF in Washington, DC? I'm aware that there is no exact formula but maybe some who did that in DC can probably tell me the estimate.

Thanks for the help.

Regards,

Vimel

Why would you want us all to guess at a price per SF for rehab anyways? What would you use these guesses for?

There are no shortcuts to calculating rehab budgets, you must have the knowledge and ability to price each piece of the scope of work out for each property. Using some price per square foot does nothing for you. The only exception to that rule is for full new construction, other than that, never use an average price per SF for a rehab budget, it will only lead you down the wrong path.

Ever heard of garbage in, garbage out? That is what you get when you use short cuts, putting in garbage numbers will give you garbage results.
