home insurance options
Hello,
As the house I am purchasing needs extensive repairs to rehab it, I am wondering if insurance companies would insure the house and if they don’t what are my other options?
Thanks in advance for your response.

@Jeff Cliff if the property needs a ton of work and/or will be vacant for more than 30 days, then you should start with a Builders Risk policy.
Once the property has been completed and is "rent ready", then you could move to a traditional landlord/rental dwelling policy.
