NOT FHA or 203k eligible because of additions made to property...is this an issue?
Has anybody ran into any issues with a property because of additions made to a property by the previous owner. I am looking at a property for a light rehab, but on the listing it says it does not qualify for FHA loans because of the additions made to the house.
The addition appears to be a 15x15 addition off the kitchen (see attached photo)
Will this be a problem when I go to sell? I'm assuming this will eliminate any FHA homebuyers? Is that a large % of homebuyers?
Thanks for your input!
