Dealing With The City

I know dealing with the city can be a pain at times, but did you ever appoach them as a partner, as source for rehabs and flips?

Recently one investor bought all the city had and will likely make a few million, but you can do them one at a time. I believe any city would entertain the thought of buying all they had, taking the bad with the good.

Any ideas as to making such an offer, financing them and getting them turned around?

Hi Bill, I have not completed a deal like this, but perhaps speaking with someone in the following organizations would get you where you need to be?

Housing & Redevelopment Authorities
Economic Development Agencies
Municipality based NSP?

In my City, these groups can have first dibs on distressed sales...

Will be curious to know what you find,
