I'm glad I found BP.....I just got signed up to BP yesterday and I've been reading a few post since yesterday and I have to say , many helpful people on this site giving great advice.....I'm a newbie and I have so many questions I would like to ask but I would like to get started with a few for now... Before I start looking for deals on homes should I start like any start up business, start with a business plan, marketing strategies and form a business structure ( i.e. LLC )? A little about my situation, I have a home that I'm still paying a mortgage on. I do have some equity but I don't know how much I have just yet ( I will find out ) My credit isn't so good, in the low 600's( credit low due to bad decisions). Just began to study real estate investing, I read a couple of books and have some knowledge on the subject but I feel I might need to continue studying before jumping into this field. I told a friend about what I wanted to do and he told me that would give me a loan to start me out. The loan will be probably only for the down payment on a property but I consider it a start. Before I take my friend's loan should I consider educating my self a bit more? Build my credit back up to good? Just looking for some advice. Thank y'all.....
