First investment property - Paint + Winter

Just joined this forum today!! Live in Minnesota and am looking to buy my first fix and flip. How do people in cold climates handle homes that need exterior paint (basically all homes in my price range to some degree)? Should I just look for homes that already have acceptable exteriors? No painter will do anything until the Spring.
