I've been doing a lot of reading on this and think I'm going to give it a go in a few months. Anyone have any recent experience with this?

There are plenty of flippers/rehabbers here on the site, Jay, though perhaps not that many in your area. I suppose it might be helpful if you could narrow down your questions to something more specific.

I'm assuming what people will say to this question is that you can flip anywhere that you can get in cheap enough to make a profit -- and I'm sure that includes parts of Brooklyn. What's next? What's your plan? Do you know how you're going to move forward? I think if you start asking questions around those questions, you're going to get a much better response.

I also think people will be more responsive if you filled in your profile and uploaded a pic of yourself so we can better get to know you. Here's a presentation that might help you find better results here on BP and elsewhere online:

I hope that helps.
