Demo the driveway and have it hauled away. Hire someone to form and pour only. If you do it on a Saturday hire someone to just come finish it two guys should be able to do that in a day. I would put it up on Craigslist under gigs. I'd offer $600-$800 for labor. Have the 2"x4"x8' form lumber ready and have 3 pins for each. A box of three inch screws and a box of duplex nails.

You can find a concrete calculator at concrete network dot com. I like it it is simple and easy to use. This will tell you how many yards it will be. Here a yard is about $150. Google concrete companies and find a mix on site truck they will deliver a 1 yard minimum here.

All in it should be under $3000 and the look of pulling up to the new driveway and seeing the dramatic transformation of the entry and paint will be great. I heard most people decide as soon as they pull up if a house is a good fit or not and I would do this without a doubt.

Good Luck

Marcus
