Help me perk up this bland exterior!

We will close on this house in about 2 weeks, and it needs some curb appeal! Apparently someone doesn't like color, because everything on the outside of this house is white! White metal roof, white vinyl siding, white vinyl windows, bleh!

This will be a rental, and we don't want to spend unnecessarily, but it really needs something. We will be replacing the front door, so it will be painted a nice color, but I don't think it's enough. We haven't decided yet whether to paint the front deck or leave it as is, since once you paint decking, you can never go back.

What do you all think?

Incredibly rough edit, and I didn’t take the time to photoshop in flower baskets, but I think only having shutters on the left looks fine.
