Flooring question for a fix and rent
Buying a bi level house that needs a little work in order to rent. Currently Carpet and linoleum throughout. The upper level of bedrooms is hardwood under carpet that will get refinished. We want to put laminate vinyl plank in all the lower level which is living, kitchen dining half bath and utility/mud room. My question is: Will a renter in a C neighborhood care that its laminate on one level and wood on another? Should I try to make sure they look different from each other or can I use a laminate that is similar to the hardwood color? It’s only going to be a $50k house but will bring 800-900 in rent.
