Putting Together a Rehab Construction Crew
I'm about to finish the renovation on my first flip. I used all licensed contractors, all did a fine job. The only problem: They killed my budget! For the future, I want to put together my own crew as the higher volume flippers in my area do. I'm thinking of, say, four tradesmen; particularly for demo, paint, flooring, minor electrical, and handyman punch list items. Of course for more technical work, I would still hire a contractor. My company is incorporated, and I can pay with a regular paycheck. Would like to hear from other investors who have their own crew.
