Any advice for a complete newbie?
First off I would like to sincerely thank everyone who posts on this site, it truly is an amazing resource and the knowledge I have gained from coming to this site is invaluable. I apologize for this thread as I know it has been done many times before, however, I still had a few questions. For the past 2 months or so I have been reading this site as well as various blogs to gain more knowledge on real estate investing, particularly flipping homes. I am sure there is quite a huge chunk out there that I still do not know however I feel comfortable in finally starting my first flip. I do have proper financing for the first property and wouldn't need to take out a HML, or anything of that sort. Now, should I wait until the warmer months to start my first flip? Meaning should I buy my first property January/February of next year to put on the market in March/April? Does it matter at all when you purchase a home for a flip? I apologize once again as I know this question has been asked before, but I was still unclear.
Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
