Learn how to be my own GC

I’m a new investor looking to build my first new construction project (duplex). I know that many people are the GC’s for their own projects. I don’t currently have the knowledge to be a GC but I would like to learn.

What is the best way to learn?

Is their a good book or video that teaches you what to look out for throughout the building process to ensure the sub contractors are doing their jobs properly?
