Do you show a flip house prior to completing the work?

Do you show the house before you start the work?

Do you show the house to prospectives prior to owning ?

I have told some realtors about my next project. I have a realtor showing houses in the area tomorrow. I have explained that her client could pick color of carpets, paint, lighting etc. She could make her own. The realtor does not know the address. But is showing the house next door, same floor plan, it's not rehabed and is listed at $129k, mine is $99,995' or it will be soon.
The realtor said she will explain it to her client and would like to show it to her.

Do I do this?

I disagree.

Unless you can show them photos of another house you've done, or the home is in close-to-finished shape, I wouldn't show an unfinished home.

People have no vision. Watch all the tv shows where they are showing homes. They complain about paint colors, furniture, and other items that they could easily change.

If you have photos or some method of getting them to picture what the home will look like when it's done, then I see no problem with trying to sell the home before it's done.
