Flip & Rent - Flooring Options - Philadelphia

Hi all! Longtime podcast listener, first time forum poster!

My wife and I just bought our first property in the Philadelphia area. We will be doing a live-in-flip and eventually renting it out. We're tearing out all the carpets and plan to install flooring that will last as long as possible with minimal maintenance. We've narrowed our options to laminate flooring, or luxury vinyl planks due to the scratch/water resistance properties

  • Any brand recommendations for laminate or LVP that you've had good experience with? (Ideally ~$2/SF for material)
  • If anyone has any great flooring contractor recommendations in the Philadelphia area please let me know!

Thank you and I look forward to discussing with you all.

Nick
