Looking for help in the beginning stages of investing.

Hello all, I’m new to the REI world and really looking to network and learn as much as possible. I’m located in the Riverside/ San Diego area and would love to link with local investors to get the ins and outs of the industry. I know most are busy and not too keen on meeting with newbies but any advice or anything would help. I feel like I’ve hit a roadblock and get pushed to the side when asking for help. A little bit about myself...I bought my current home about two years ago using the VA loan and found a passion in learning about Real Estate about 6 months ago. Learning little by little but hesitant on making any moves until I have more knowledge of what I’m doing. I’ve met with some local groups but no luck in really getting the most out of it. Would love to sit down and learn how to run the numbers and what to look for and hopefully start up a partnership to get things going. I want to get into rehabbing and rentals. Don’t know if that’s asking too much but any advice would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
