Can these cabinets be saved?
The base of the cabinets is wet (possibly from a pinhole leak in the water line to the refrigerator, behind the wall). But as you can see the cabinets themselves appear to be in good condition. The inspector recommended getting rid of the whole thing, but is it possible to replace the base and reuse the rest of the cabinets? Or remove and reuse that countertop? Or should I just budget to have the whole thing redone? Thanks.

To me it would depend on what your plans are for the property?
If it is your primary residence or if you are flipping the house and selling it retail I would replace the cabinets.
If it's going to be a rental I would try to save them if the water only got to the base.
