... separate metering? What would be the cost for a 8 - 12 unit house? Is this simple and easy to do or hard?

We have in Germany only separate electric meters so I have no clue which budget I must planned per unit for this.

If you're close, I have an electrician that has very good rates that could bid you.

It costs me about $500/room to have separate meters installed. That includes materials.

It's a pretty time consuming task, to fish wires through walls, floors, etc. It also uses more wire that installing separate meters new.
