Washington DC Home Renovation

Hello BP,

I have been a follower of BP for a few years and am finally taking the leap with my first purchase in DC! Currently the house just needs minor cosmetic work and I will begin renting it, but I would eventually like to do a full remodel. The townhouse  (~2,500 SF) is currently 4 stories broken into 3 units, but I plan to eventually sell it as 2 units. I am hoping to find some recommendations for reputable contractors that won't break the bank. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
