Cheapest way to add SQ Footage
I've been thinking about how to add SQ Footage to a house so it appraises higher than the money spent to add the Sq Footage. What in your experience is the cheapest way to add square footage for an increased appraisal?

My guess would be garage conversion to family room or covered porch conversion to sunroom. You will need permits and inspections. Don't cheap out on the conversions- -especially in Seattle.
