I am looking into doing my first flip with a hard money lender I'm in South NJ for those that are close please let it be known. Basically just looking to gain any knowledge out there about hard money, picking right property, contractors, choosing right realtor, how to right up the offer using hard money, what kinda fees should I be prepared to pay up front, any lender recommendations, and anything else you can think of thank you. Everyone welcome but I really want To hear from people in the process or recently completed first deal.

Hi @Tycee Tyler

There are different ways to go about learning the ropes of real estate investing and actually doing it.

If you are a self-starter, there is plenty of resources on biggerpockets to teach you how to do it: regular webinars, podcasts, videos, guides, links to books you can read and put in practice.

Browser the link "Education" in the menu bar at the top.

If you need hand holding and mentoring to go and do it, there are a number of companies out there who can help.

To find them, go to meetup events or real estate events in your area, there is usually several people who can happy to teach you for a fee.

Just make sure that they are actually out there doing it and they can back up their claims.

if need be, shoot me an email if you need further info.

Best of luck in your journey.
