Tools for Flipping Houses and Finding Motivated Sellers

Hi. I was just wondering what tools some of you have been utilizing to find good houses for flips/ motivated sellers? I have been looking at pre-forclosures but it apparently takes 4-8 months to close on one of those. I apologize in advance for the dumb questions. It's only been about a month since I got my real estate license and started looking into it a lot more.
