FLIP experience using Self Directed IRA/401K

I was wondering if anyone of you has done a regular flip and also a self directed IRA/Solo401K funded flip. Could you please share your experiences. How was it different for you, key challenges, lessons etc. I know all the "theoretical" differences...You're not supposed to lift a hammer, no personal gains, etc etc.

So what were the "real" differences for you?
