countering an oil heated home to electric

hi. I'm looking in investing in my first home in new london ct. I'm trying to do as much planning as possible and realized a lot of these homes are old and are oil baseboard heated. which I know is very expensive. I would like to get these homes converted to electric. I feel like it would be easier for me and the tenant. They could just pay the electric bill. if been having problems finding quotes since I don't have a specific house. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this. or have any ball park idea on how much this would cost. thank you
