Hiring your kid for yard maintenance in Canada

Is there anything else I should consider before paying my child to maintain the yards of our rental properties?  He is now old enough that he has taken on mowing the lawn, snow removal and general upkeep.  These are jobs that otherwise need to be done by me personally or hiring a company at a premium $75-$100 per time.  He has a SIN number and we would have him run it like a business by submitting bills for his time, and then file an income tax return at the end of the year.  I couldn't find any other discussions on this topic though so I am wondering if this isn't something people do?  Thanks
