I am in a bit of a difficult spot.  I am redoing a kitchen in my first multifamily home.  It is owner-occupied and in the unit where I am living.  Anyways, I had a friend do all my electrical work.  He is not licensed, but all the work is done to code and done right.  I call the electrical inspector today to come and inspect the work and he will not come out.  Because, I am not a licensed electrician he won't come and sign off.  So now, I need find an electrician who will come out and pull the permit for the existing work.

Does anyone know an electrician who would do so?  Or any other advice to get around this?

Thanks!  Its been a learning experience rehabbing my first investment property.
