Do you hire a contractor or DIY
I've flipped about 20 properties since 1994. I've only hired a contractor or help a few times. My question is do most of you hire someone for drywall, painting, landscaping, replacing floor joice, pouring concret, Windows, doors, flooring? I read some of the year old forms and it's a time verses money question. I live in California and contractors want at least 1-1/2 the cost of material . A day laborer wants $15 an hour.

Well, the day laborer prices are cheap compared to my area . What you ask is all relative to the project , and desired time of completion , plus your own skills . Its always cheaper to do it yourself
