Building material suppliers in Austin

We are starting our second flip in Austin and are searching for suppliers other than Home Depot, Lowes, Lumber Liquidators, etc. We feel like this is something that we could have done better with on our first flip. Any recommendations would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi Morgan! I do real estate on the side and wholesale A-grade and B-grade building materials full-time. If you get to the point where you need large quantities (truckload) of overstock building materials let me know.

We market flooring, decking, roofing, plywood, windows, cabinets, paneling, lumber, countertops, kitchen sinks, paints, showers/tubs, siding, etc. Congrats on starting your 2nd flip!

We have been using Floor n Decor for tile, BMC (Stock) for lumber/windows.  Also McCoys is cheaper and faster on windows, but they always mess up our order.  What materials in particular are you looking for?

Thank you for the response! We just checked out Floor & Decor today and were impressed. Glad to get a real recommendation for them. We checked out BMC today too and were unimpressed. We are really just trying to make sure that we are exploring all the options available out there from lumber to lighting and everything in between. Have you used ProSource at all? Who do you recommend for cabinets and countertops? Thanks again!

@Morgan Heard

We use ProSource for pretty much anything we can. I highly recommend Randall Zeigler. He really takes the time to understand your project and budget. On my latest project, he actually convinced me to spend thousands less that I otherwise would have, and with good results.
