Which gets done first
Hi BP'ers. I need to replace cedar shake siding (and sheathing) and the windows within that space. I'm prolly going with 2 diff contractors. Which should get done first? thanks

Windows before siding if you have the option. Replacing windows within existing siding is much more aggravating and less water-proof. If you put windows in before siding, you can put them anywhere; afterwards, you usually have to/want to work with the existing siding footprint.
