Starting first rehab at the end of the month

Hello all.  This is my first post.

I'm buying a property in Riverdale Park in MD.  Good location.  Easy access to the Metro (subway), Washington , DC, Shopping and the University of Maryland.  New development close by.  Properties sell quickly in this area.

We bought a foreclosure and the occupant will be out the last week of the month (been to court).  Haven't seen the inside yet, but got the property at a very good price.

Can anyone suggest a good demo company? We figure that we will have to go down to the studs and redo (assumption when figuring the purchase price).  Also,  what certification would that company need so as not to run into a problem regarding lead paint?  Is it the company's responsibility to adhere to the current law in MD or are we (the investors) on the hook for them doing it properly?

Any and all ideas welcome.
