Hello! I am in the process of purchasing my first rental property. It needs a bit of work but I want to ensure I do not task out work I can complete myself. What type of DIY projects do experienced investors or DIYers recommend? What are tips to drive rehab cost down? Do any companies offer incentives for using there renovation services?

ALL tips are welcomed :)

If you learn to do your own flooring and painting, you've got 90% of most remodels. I do those and tend to hire out plumbing. I also do my own roofing, huge savings there. People who say to focus on your business instead of doing the work are either independently wealthy or lazy:)
