Can you get a conv loan for Reno/rehab?
I have an awesome mortgage lender in Atlanta but they have a policy not to loan unless the utilities and water is turned on. They want it habitable basically.
How did you overcome it? Cash? Private $?
I'm not interested in hard $ as the plan is to buy hold and rent. Thanks!

Look up "HomeStyle Renovation Loan". It is a loan by Fannie Mae that allows reno/rehab costs to be rolled into the mortgage.
