Rehab Rookie In Search of Assistance
Hello..hope all is well. What a beautiful day. My name is Jason. I live in California but I have a property in Montclair, NJ. 1930's Colonial, 3 bd, 1 1/2 bath. The full baths needs to be updated. Im uncertain how to tackle this bathroom. 1 full bath, but the shower is smaller than normal. Should I change the tile or restore? Will an appraiser suggest ways to increase value or just state the overall value of the house. I know the the bathroom, hardwood floors, and possiblly the basement needs updating. I was wondering if I can talk to someone who is in the Montclair area because I my intent is to start renting the property by the summer. If possible, and at the very least i can upload pictures. Thank you.
