Foundation Engineering Survey - Not sure what to make of it.
There were a crack on garage wall, so I hired a Structural Engineer. Attached a survey and part of their statement regarding it. I can't determine if the issue is serious or not. Would appreciate your opinion. Thanks.

@Felix K.
HI Felix,
The issue does need to be addressed. Basically they are saying that the soil beneath the garage is not stable and could keep sinking in the future, which would cause more structural damage to the garage.
If I were you, I would first do a soil sample to see if the soil is still settling and if it is, then you will have to do what they recommend and that is a pier system. Basically they will put a pier underneath that corner to raise it back to being level and it won't be an issue any longer. If the soil has stabilized and is no longer sinking, then you will just have to address the crack & the leveling of the floor. It looks like they suggested self leveling epoxy.
Keep in mind if it needs to be leveled through the piering system, it will affect other things on the garage that you will have to address.
But this is definitely something you need to deal with.
Hope this helps! Merry Christmas!
