Foundation Settling. Corrugated Pipes Sticking Out of Ground
I'm considering purchasing a home that has significant settling on all sides. The brick work has cracks in several places and looking at the grading the home is much lower than the neighbors hence most likely why it's having issues. My question is what purpose could the corrugated pipes sticking out of the ground have? they are placed about every 6 feet and stick out vertically. they have caps on top. Seems that possibly were used to remove water from around foundation but I have never seen anything like this, has anyone else?
