Where to Find Properties to Flip
Hi,
My girlfriend and I want to begin investing in Real Estate here in the South Florida, Broward County area (We are focusing on fixing and flipping). We have the funds, however we are having a hell of a time trying to find the right property with the right spread. Some people have suggested to look for wholesalers to give us lists and to attend Investor meetings and make connections that way. I'm a realtor myself and I have been searching for REO's in the 3 mile radius of our house but it's a mission to get in touch with one of the agents and they are very non responsive. What would your biggest suggestion be on where to begin looking for properties? Should we attend these investor meet ups? Should we search for homes at Auctions? We just want to do our first fix and flip but we are having no luck in finding the right properties :( I'm sure this topic has been exhausted on this forum, so if you can even link me to a previous forum that I might helpful, that would be great. Thanks so much in advance! :)
