Attic Reno of a Duplex(Canada)
Hello all,
Im currently renovating an upper unit of a duplex. The attic space is unused and unfinished( to the studs). I would really love to have the beams exposed with the drywall and styrofoam between the studs.
Options: Expose the beams? (More time, money and less R-value)
Drywall regular with higher r-value insulation.? regular walls.
Space size( 35 ft x 17ft x 7.5 ft) also adding two skylights and 2-piece bathroom. Rent will probably be $950 CDN
Questions- Has anyone done this with success(rental)?
Which one would you do?
Not sure if its participial with a rental.
Thanks so mush for your time!
Wes
