House Flip Half-way through

Hello Everyone,

I was hoping to get some advice on this.  I'm currently renovating a house, in Chicago.  I started in January and I'm about 50 percent through the project.  Everything was going great unitl late March when I ran out of money.  I had to tell my GC to hold off, until I had the money to finish.  In June I told him I had the rest of the money to finish.  But it seems like his guys are really busy now.  Its been over a month, and he's been giving me the run around.  The problem is since I did an addition I need a new roof.  I'm thinking of firing my GC.  I have a GC license, and I know I can finish the property quickly.  All of the inspections minus the final have been approved.  Does anyone know what my next step would be, if I chose to fire my GC, and do it myself?
