Design help: mini split and flooring
I may have little to no choice but go with mini splits (ductless AC) for a portion of a house I am rehabbing. Does anyone have experience with trying to hide them? I am most concerned with disguising them the best I can in the living room and kitchen.
Also, I am having a tough time deciding on what route to take on flooring. The front of the house- living/kitchen/guest bedroom are all 100 year old hardwood getting refinished. The back of the house will be master suite/laundry/guest bath/foyer. Ideally the back would all get the same flooring but I want to avoid going from hardwood to a secondary wood flooring. So tile solves that, however I would like to avoid tile (or carpet) in the master bedroom. So, is 3 types of flooring on one level any concern?
Any solution to insure it flows nicely?
Attaching a drawing but I'm not sure if the quality is good enough to really grasp the floor plan.
Thanks!!
