Fix or Replace AC and Furnace for flip

I am currently in the middle of my first flip and I am trying to decide whether or not I will get my money back on replacing the ac and furnace. I replaced the coil and freon but my real estate agent is telling me I should just replace the whole system. I asked my contractor who lives in the neighborhood the house is in if he though I should, and he advised against it because they are both in good working order, just old. Replacing it would put us over budget by a couple thousand, so I'm wondering whether or not I will get my money back on the sell price. Any thoughts?
