Strategy and Partnership Discussion

How do you find, structure partnerships, and work with general contractors and the like? Are you involved in the entire process, what responsibilities do you take on? Do you always bring on an architect or only when necessary? What sort of timeline do you typically work with? Interested in how you go about the entire process.

My friend and I have recently started a company that houses developers, general contractors, architects, and real estate brokers all under one business. We are planning on brining on investors, then going through the entire process from purchase to close with minimal overhead from the investor. Our hypothesis is we that can reduce cost and coordination issues (time) with a simplified and direct approach to the proposed solution.

In order to be effective I would like to learn as much as possible about your experience with this process and if you have any pain points or success stories. Thank you!
