Getting Rid of animal urine smell
We bought a house to flip that smells of urine & other animal odors. We have cut out & replaced drywall that was a problem but there is still an odor & we can't find where it is. Has anyone had success with getting rid of tough odors?
Thanks!

Wendy did you turn off the lights and use a black light going around the inside of the house?
The urine might not only be in the walls but the sub floor and other areas. There will be spots the black light will show for markings.
If the floor is covered with carpet you might need to take out along with the pad. Wood floors might need to go as well. If there is a crawl space or basement you can possibly lookup into the ceiling and see the bottom of the floor from below for staining in the wood where it has seeped in.
Unfortunately you might need to take down that new drywall you did and check again. There are special sealers and cleaners to use to make the smell go away. Do not use bleach and other masking cleaners as they smell is not eliminated.
