Hardboard / Wood siding need repair help / estimate

Hello! I am looking at a house for my first "live-in" 2 year flip that is in need of repair for several pieces of hardboard siding. Does anyone look at this and have any suggestions on what a repair like this may cost?

I know it may be hard to tell with just pictures...but this is my first house so even just decent estimates would be a huge help to me. The house is in the Chesterfield, VA / Midlothian, VA area. Thanks!

In order to estimate a job like that, I would really need to be able to see what condition the wood is in.  (I ran a siding company for over 10 years, by the way.)  If there is any water, termite or some other type of damage behind the siding that we can't visibly see, that would obviously increase the cost.  That being said, I do have a little sheet that I use that gives me some decent ballpark figures on different types of repairs based on how much needs done.  I hope that it will help you some and I wish you the best as you begin your investing.
