Rehabbing to Refinance
I purchased a foreclosure for $74,000, and higher end comps in the neighborhood go for $120-130,000.
The home will be my fiancé and mine's primary home for the time being also. Our goal is to rehab the property and refinance it to purchase a multi family or two in our area.
The property really is mainly cosmetic upgrades to this point (knock on wood).
Finally to my question: To be considered "higher end" do the appraisers typically take into consideration appliances (i.e. stainless steel vs black or white appliances)?
