Removing shower tubs and installing walk in showers

Hello,

I have a question if anyone's done this or if it makes financial sense.

I have a six flat in Dupage County Addison, where water is ridiculously expensive.

Its about $100 per unit for month.

What do you guys think about removing tubs and installing walk in showers so not as much water would be used?

Also any other ways of saving water?

Thanks!

I dont think converting to showers will make any difference. Most people just take showers anyway. Switch to low flow shower heads, faucets and toilets to save on water and make sure there are no slow leaks.
