How do I find owner of this house?!

This may be a dumb question, but I'm going to ask anyway. There's a house down the road where I grew up that I'm very interested in, or at least talking to the owners about their plans with the home. My problem is the house isn't occupied, so I can't just stop by or leave a note. I know by public record you can find the owner of the home through their address, but how do I find out the address? Another weird fact, the house doesn't have a mailbox... So, I have no clue to find out who owns the property.

Hey @Account Closed, you can usually go to tax assessor's website for the county in which the property is located.  Most county websites will have tax values, delinquencies, maps, and other info about the property you're searching. When viewing the information on the property, look for a "mailing address" that is different from the actual property, or "situs", address. Then, you can send a letter to the owners at the listed mailing address stating your interest in the property.

I went to the county site of your area in case the home is located there, the link is below.

Hope this helps!
