Renovation Project in San Jose, California
Hi Everyone,
Due to circumstances, I am considering moving back to the US to help my mother with her residential care home business. Since the house is empty due to these circumstances, I am also considering getting renovations done to the house. I am wondering if people wouldn't mind sharing recommendations of honest contractors in the San Jose, California area. I am considering renovating the following:
1. Install laminate floors
2. Door, doorframe, baseboard removal/replacement
3. Drywall work
4. Countertop installation
5. Kitchen replacement (?)
6. Ductwork for HVAC
The house is about 1500sf and not in the best neighborhood, so I don't think I want to put in too much work/cash in it. However, it really needs some updates. If you can give me some ballpark estimates of timeframe and cost that would be helpful as well.
Thanks!
