Uncovering pine floor...Is there an easier way?

Help! Two Bigger Pocket podcasts later I'm at about 25% done uncovering this floor from two layers of the worst over-layment ever invented (the walls of this room had been paneled in the 60's...to think I thought that was bad, HA)!

It isn't coming up well at all. The linoleum peels up with its layer pretty easily but the layer under that is nailed every 3 inches and it splinters completely. Here is a photo:

I'm in for the long haul...I want the floor underneath! I am just throwing my "issue" out there to see if anyone has found a faster way to get this horrible stuff up! Thanks!
