Luck Trumps Smarts
Luck is discounted because of the belief it is not subject to our control. Wrong. Luck is described as where preparedness and opportunity intersect on a graph or in life. Thomas Jefferson said: "I believe in luck. The harder I work the more of it I have." In over 70 years of having extremely good luck I have learned advice is only noise unless it has been requested so I will stop for now with the recommendation to pay attention to the Nike motto: "Just Do it." Acting on that advice will improve most people's luck.
